As a former baker for 10 years I agree here. Sugar at 10% of the flour weight is far too high to have the bread be called ‘basic staple bread’, it moves into enriched dough territory on more levels than that I’d imagine

Could never understand how this company makes any money here.. So many other places to get better food....

Exactly, even when I want a durty take away I avoid Subway. Better off getting a greasy burger at a a café, at least you'll get daycent bread!

I hate this conveyor belt way of buying a sandwich. People shouting at you as you shuffle along and get presented with a soft doughy cake with slop inside. Not surprised it’s full of sugar. I expect some of the fillings aren’t much better either. No thank you.
