Purportedly Moore’s main accuser Leigh Corfman has had three divorces, filed for bankruptcy three times, and has been charged with multiple misdemeanors. Posts on Moore's FB page indicate that Corfman, has claimed several pastors at various churches made sexual advances at her.

Girls who have been victimized often become victims again to the same type of predators. They are damaged and subsequently labeled as promiscuous. So sad. Almost all of the women I know.

I don't care if she served time, it does not take away the truth. This argument is almost as demented as you are. How many women have come forward about his pedophilia? No matter what their past is, it does not mean what Moore did to them is false. Stop defending a pedophile!

Plus, getting sexually assaulted at such a young age by a powerful older man really warps your self worth, your still developing sexual identity and your outlook on life. Her perceived failings are in part Moore's failings as well. He took her innocence for his own gratification

Not sure I see her past as failings, but struggles certainly. What Moore did is a crime. If any of these women tried to kill themselves or became addicted to drugs trying to escape their nightmare, would that be up for judgement? They deserve to be heard no matter their past.

Thank you, Bill. And James, she made it very clear she didn't come forward before for fear people would use those life events to judge her. Women often don't come forward because they don't want every detail of their life examined and used as a weapon.

Shockingly enough, being sexually assaulted as a child can sometimes really mess with your ability to form relationships and function in society. It's also not uncommon for someone to be victimized by multiple people.
