PG&E said last week it had lined up billions in financing from major banks to help it through bankruptcy. It wants to avoid lengthy PUC approval that would normally required for such financing, hence today's immediate meeting. BK filing expected tomorrow

This is the third CPUC meeting recently where anti-PG&E protesters have been a big presence. Today they're critical of the quick timing and presence of big banks.
