    It's not like I'm a huge fan of Istio or Knative, but this right here is a good example of why I'm personally definitely NOT a fan of CNCF. Too much politics, and too willing to heavily promote a piece of software, but only if you let them assume control of it

    Just looked at the EU schedule and the program chairs selected very few Istio and Knative related talks. Not joining the foundation? No more free ride it seems!

    I'm surprised no cloud provider offers a Memcached/Redis service that charges on actual amount used (as opposed to instance memory/hr). Many serverless apps could benefit from a cache with serverless pricing model even if it was low-throughput or multi-tenant.
