Half a million people, before the coronavirus pandemic, were homeless on any given night. There has been no multitrillion-dollar spending bill to combat these and other domestic emergencies, writes @StephanieKelton.https://interc.pt/3dx7fdX

That's why the World is gonna change! How could we say “there’s no money” when everything will be back to normal?

While I applaud the sentiment, the entire premise of this article is fall-on-its-face dumb. The only way this makes for a compelling argument is if you consider both the current pandemic and the other things (hunger, homelessness) as equally urgent matters. And you just can't.

Hi Dan, when you say “urgent”, urgent to whom? To the homeless and the hungry, I bet they consider it very urgent. Ultimately it’s a question of priorities - which at its core is a political issue.

But, as some in the GOP pointed out, the homeless don't have to worry about paying rent, a mortgage, and losing their healthcare.

Yes, whatever happens to the homeless? No outreach for them? They’re children of God too.

The problem never was lack of money, but lack of interest in solving such issues.
