He did something gross some time ago and is attempting to hold himself accountable and apologize. Unlike any Republican ever.

A friend of mine did something similar, while drunk enough to forget it & the night. His forceful grab was in front of others. Friends told him what he'd done. He called & apologized. It wasn't pedophilia. It WAS wrong, but when he found out, he acted like a man & apologized.

He was ashamed of himself, the key to my accepting his apology. He remains my friend. We were young. He was a drunk idiot. Before all is done, we're going to have to look at what WAS accepted in the past that shouldn't be & isn't now, like bullying, hazing, & unwanted touch. IMO
