I have a hard time imagining that there are people who will wait in line hours to vote without already knowing who they're voting for and who would be persuaded by whichever candidate gave them a cup of water.

Actually it is the federal governments job when the states try to suppress voting and are attempting to subvert the will of the people. Maybe we should just go to online voting?

OMG, there's a senator who does not believe that voting is a shared undertaking, where we *come together.* That is where we get to greet a lot of people in our neighborhood otherwise not in our orbit. It's high socializing. Keep politics *out. of. it.* It's humane time.
