Right?! But he's got a point, re: public faith. Even if the profession rethinks and adjusts, it could be quite a long time before people put any stock in it. And I'm not sure that's a bad thing, for major political races. Am I wrong?

In 2016 white males without a college education caught the pollsters by surprise, but the results were still within the margin of error. People need to understand that polls aren't predictions, just snapshots of how things look in the moment.
