In a single reference he manages to make one of the most self-aggrandizing statements I’ve ever heard AND get his facts wrong. The airborne divisions didn’t jump in the morning of June 5th (which would have been 24 hours before the landings — too long).
-
They boarded the planes late on the night of June 5th; by the time most (I believe all) of them had landed in France in places like Sainte-Mère-Église (to which I have been, including the museum there), it had crossed over into June 6th.

Wow. He’s as good at all-about-me-ism as his narcissistic boss, all while trivializing the experience and heroism of our D-Day heroes.
-
I've been toying with the idea that Barr is a bit of a narcissist, too. He's so sure of his extremist stances.

No, wrong again. Those soldiers were fighting for The free world and risking their lives for it. You instead are fighting against it.
-
How on earth can he be trusted with any type of judgement when he compares a speaking engagement to a life or death situation? It's more than insensitive, he's metaphorically vandalising war memorials...to get a laugh.

Going out on a limb here and saying no, it felt nothing like that and I can’t believe you actually said that out loud. In words. In public.

Just like the boss: it’s all about me!!!!
