He's an excellent example of why federal judges should not enjoy lifetime appointments. This guy has been a thorn in our side for too long.

Well regulated at the time the second amendment was written had a different meaning than so many want to give it now. It meant basically, trained and armed, and by trained I mean in shooting. The militia was described as all able body men

States' rights are oh so important to the right until they're not. 2nd Ammendment was a way for slave-owning states to keep arms in civilian hands so that they could gin up an armed posse (militia) at a moment's notice to chase down runaway slaves.
