It’s a public school.

Public schools are part of the government, so you have free speech rights to criticize government. By firing the teacher, the government is suppressing speech.

I’m a teacher. You’re incorrect. There are actually morality clauses in our contract (rightfully so). It’s called “conduct unbecoming of an educator”. I hate Trump and Miller, but this is beyond unethical. A teacher is also not allowed to influence students in politics either.

That would be called something of the sort “influencing the impressionable youth”. But back to this topic, a teacher should in no way talk about her former students in this manner. You might want to look up FERPA. While this might not qualify for FERPA, it’s dangerously close.
