For those of us old enough to remember, in 2000 SCOTUS stopped a recount — not the initial vote count; Bush was ahead; and it was the only state in doubt. The more votes that are counted in WI, MI and PA, the less this looks like 2000.

Which would matter if ALL judges didn't actively "signal" willingness to hear certain arguments & then presto! A case & controversy magically appears.
