Depends of the context, or the viewpoint. Selling materials will help crafters that needs it. Buying and reselling higher will help goldmakers by setting up the prices, but not those who really needs it. In that case, it's a win for the seller, for a loss for the consumer.

I'm too lazy to farm. I buy mats and sell crafted items for profit. I need the farmers and I'll give them gold. Even flipping items is paying someone, so yes, it's helping

I believe it helps other players. I buy materials, because I hate farming, so someone is making money off of my cycle. I provide made items, so someone is getting what they need or want and I in turn make gold to spend on more materials.

Generally people flipping and undercutting the economy hurts everyone except gold farmers. So, largely unhelpful, but I'm fine with people who legitimately farm content and crafting stuff to sell it at a reasonable price.

^ i mean we deserve a good profit for our time and energy but im a person who sells mostly raid mats and crafting mats, so overall, i think im and other mat sellers, are a positive???

Yes, because you provide a service to those who dont want to farm for their mats or items (flasks, gear, food). To me, if your buying and then reselling it means you got there before someone else did. Course I don't jack up my prices sky high either though.

@ryanaeckles answered this in a Youtube video and I agree. If you spend a lot of time focusing on making gold, you can only help the economy in the long run. Wow inflation happens as a result of people playing the game, so we need people focused on controlling the economy.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

1) Yes. It helps them get things faster. 2) Yes. It helps crafters help people get things faster. 3) Yes. As long as whatever the craft is stays profitable, then the crafter will feel good about having a large stockpile of mats. And for BoEs and pets, well it works still.
