We once had a person that always complained about having gold in my guild at the time. Found out he was vendoring all of his greens, blues and everything. No DEing, no Listing on the AH. Just vendoring. It took 4 or 5 times to explain why that wasn't the best way.

ok ok.. *sometimes* vendoring is the right option.. but rarely.. and if you didn't evaluate the 6 other options.. well.. STEP AWAY FROM THE VENDOR

This was really the first expansion that vendoring was more profitable at times than DEing greens to me. I"m expecting the same with BFA but still, it hurt a little each time I vendored a green. I made sure it wasn't in my appearance collection first

however - is it worth holding those for during BFA? I'm noticing the WOD greens spiking in value.. but for DE mats, leveling, twinking and xmog people missed..

If I leave it up for 20 cycles at 50s a drop and it doesn't sell them I'm still 20g ahead. So would I gamble 5g to make 5x time profit? Yep, I would

I hear that - and saw a great video on stacking operations that I plan to start using.. but the AH listing fee for some items makes it worthless to list them..

agreed. and that's where just 'automatically listing' tends to get people into trouble. Or when I run a vendor scan and take people's lunch money to pay for my AH fees :-)
