Yes, the tank could stance-dance (cf: warriors are the only tank), but fearward helped. Can still remember rotating fearward on the MT

You'll not have flasks - they take black lotus which is damn rare. Instead you'll have 2x elixirs - 1x battle and 1x defensive

Not correct, you didn't have that mechanic until TBC. You can have unlimited elixirs in classic. Hence all the farming.
