Because its takes a lot to talk about what you've been bottling up and its scary how people around you can react. Gives awareness and helps others to not feel alone. I mean yeah, some will get loads of shit, but also some will support them.

Because it’s expected. It’s never the mans fault as they prove this in schools by telling girls that they are distracting the males. The world has more wrong with it then just racism

It’s much more than that. It’s both toxic masculinity, and general entitlement. It’s just as hard for male victims of sexual assault to come forward as it is for women. It’s sadly systemic. I hope our future generations grow up to finally put an end to it all.
