I think we might need to move to more senior management. Possibly a guild Grandma, or Aunt having retired from being a professional Guild Mom. =/

I always do this. But I do it subtly, gently, in the background. Quiet chats and plenty of listening.

I know you do. Its one of the many things I love about you! --It was just severe before I got here and has been building in slow bursts over the past 3 weeks. I don't know if I can keep the structure from collapsing and I'm not even sure I want to.

Do you think a brief breakdown will focus people on what they actually want

I think people know clearly what they want. I just don't think a number of parties have reasonable expectations or even compatible ones. My problem is I can't picture an outcome that doesn't result in a split of a '~200 active player group.

One fundamental issue. Manifested in multiple surface issues of varying severity that don't impact all members directly but contribute to significant unrest.

So you either need a big democratic event. Or your guild leader to put their foot down and kick some people.

The fundamental problem is a result of the Sole Leader. Whether that's personality, or psychological issue is irrelevant. As a result of that reality kicks aren't an option. 1/x

As for why a straight-split of the raid group out of the guild isn't my go-to. We can't self-field a group right now at the current 'progression' time. We need the pool of players to get closer to a full group. All-group simply doesn't have the healers/tanks w/o the prog folk

There's also an emotional blackmail/gaslighting concern driving some of us. We can see what the leader says/and chat he encourages while he doesn't think we're on.

Yeah so you need better officers. Someone that everyone trusts 100%

Leader only does it when the officer in question isn't on. That's why I've got a window sitting here logging to be a 'neutral' 3rd party.
