I uhhh...I've been watching Overwatch League almost uninterrupted this entire time, and that's a thriving esports community. "Mainstream" sports and their fans sure are quick to denounce the existence of anything that doesn't fit their perception of reality. It's gross.

It's difficult for people to acknowledge something that they don't particularly understand or haven't been immersed too. Overwatch and online leagues are still in the minority when it comes to watching. Not sure about Darts but it's not a well followed sport in the US.
