I'm concerned about the economy of my wow Classic server when they remove layering and all of a sudden you have 10k+ people fighting for 3k people's nodes. (What the server pop is now, vs what the world was designed to hold).

The reality is they will likely keep snarfing. The “no changes” crowd would be beside themself if they do, but in the event a large population stays on Classic, I doubt it’ll go away. (I meant sharding but my phone autocorrected to snarfing and it was too funny not to keep.)
