They're not too bad - about the right length for the normal sort of wrap you'd get in the UK. So in some respects they're an ideal length. Had some of those for lunch today in a wrap with asparagus & coleslaw!

That sounds like quite a lot of sausages in the UK. Although they tend towards being mostly bread based I'm just glad my dietary restrictions mean I have to avoid such sausages! "Oh, does this mean I have to eat the 'No filler' style sausages? Well, if I must..."

Yes. Basically same way of making, just different ingredients and additives. Hot dogs are basically a different variation of a sausage. Now Tofu hot dogs are just an abomination.

yep. sausages have more herbs and spices than hot dogs. But it's the same way to make them.

The meat in a hot dog is ground to a more of a Smith consistent state, where a a sausage is not as fine. And different seasons.

There are other sausages and casing meats that end up close to the same consistency as hot dogs. Braunschweiger is one that comes to mind.

Hot dogs are plastic. Sausages are meat n fat. These are not the same except shape
