As a parent, I believe our children deserve to know the meaning of each swear word, and when or when not to use it. Throwing curses around randomly is unhelpful to everyone except to drive anger. Yes I taught them how to swear. Properly.

Again, note a difference between "wtf" and "you are a f..." Deeply casual informal swearing like "lol , sh;tty day" can strengthen friendships promoting shared values and empathy. Deeply informal insults can wear that bond down "lol, you sh:tty" no ty

I use swear words as decadent sentence enhancers, but not to use it as a way to harm or hurt someone. I use it for comedy, not pain. And I agree with this message.
