No PvAi , there no pvp because there is no player before us. Let's face it , it's just a way to give pvp awards to pve boys , this need to be a third content with it's own rewards like the island expedition. Island expedition is against AI too .

aka mark of honor, honor, conquest. While pveboys are forced to do pve content to have the items for the upgarde profession, the gear , and everything else. They want to put AI , fine i'm glad i like island , but they need to leave it like island. Content who is not related to

But in this particular case, it is related to PVP. It's on the same map, with the same rules as an existing battleground, that has been played against human players. It's AI that is attempting to perform like a player. The intention is to ease players into the full PVP experience

But it's still not pvp , that's why they really need to make all the AI type of game in a third content. The AI is fun but sorry , i have NEVER losed and island expedition against AI. Against player ? yes . There is a good reason to it , AI are not players

I don't think that ability for AI to beat human players is part of this conversation. DeepMind has already beaten professional Star Craft players, so the technology to make the AI *too* good exists. https://kotaku.com/googles-deepmind-ai-just-beat-two-pros-at-starcraft-ii-1832034863 …

My point about this is that the content is designed to be a Player-Versus-Player encounter, where each side uses strategy and learning to overcome an opponent that is doing the same, and not just following a pre-programmed script like a raid boss would.

We will see,but sorry i saw what the island does. If it's the same AI it's pvp content giving free to pveboys, and it doesn't help pvp in anyway.I really hope that the AI will be way better and make it a hard content as against real player but i fear that's going to be island 2.0

1. We're talking about a brawl that will last 1 week. 2. AI in WoW is still young, and needs a lot of data to get better. For this brawl, the difficulty will probably be set fairly low to entice more people to play, so it gets a bigger set of data so it can iterate.

That was my impression so far; the difficulty level seems to be at “get mass participation for the purposes of number crunching” right now. Right now it does seem to be around warfront or normal IE level.

Hi. May I add my opinion. I'm researching AI at uni. It's further advanced and should be able to do this easily. Deepmind had the advantage of entire StarCraft as dataset. I suspect this this only a very small start.

Absolutely! It seems like the playerbase in general is regarding the AI of the Island Expeditions and now this brawl as the culmination of work that Blizzard has done in AI. Reality is that they're *very* small implementations that they are using to build their capabilities.

In other words: These are baby's first steps. This is only the beginning.
