Inscription is a good one to have inks and herbs ready to drop on the AH. Certain glyphs will always be in demand because of their cool effects. a little research can shine that to razors edge but definitely blanket investments are a good thing for old mats Ore is good too.

I found the economy crashed in terms of BFA inks. They're too plentiful from herbs in comparison to prior xpacs..

BfA ultramarine and crimson pigment/inks are cheap because for a lot of scribes it's just a byproduct of fishing for viridescent ink. It does mean that I'm making great profit from war scrolls though.

Ultramarine is 12c, Crimson is 19g... Like I said, I think they screwed up the economy this time around... Icy Pigment, for example, had a much lower drop rate ... or there were good / bad herbs for the different pigments..

Also don't forget to add that if you shred certain items you get all three types of inks. That depresses the market even farther. Off-hand drops/quest items generally give ink back when you shred. But the gold isn't really in the raw inks, it's in the item production

It depends... I used to make very good money just converting herbs into inks. But an abundance of inks does depress the "production" side too. As does underpowered crafted items (such as how quickly the darkmoon cards became obsolete.

I'm still holding out that a mechanism will be put into place that will allow boost to crafted gear ala the obliterium system during legion. It wasn't a great system but it was functional in that it kept crafted gear relevant longer.

I don't disagree... but I do wish that
@Blizzard_Ent would take crafters and stuff into more account... and even consider using an economist of some sort when designing how crafting (and availability of materials and even RNG) should be ...3 replies 0 retweets 1 like
