how does bulk inventory like TSM quantities of "stuff" get handled in this world?

thinking purely from a TSM bulk/group/string listing/buying - how do you deal in potentially huge piles of crafting materials in a bulk listing capacity - or match up your inventory with what people have bids in for buying?

what I'd love to see is "what people are searching for" or what do people want to buy but they didn't find it?! I probably have what they need.. but can't keep up with listing it.. but if I knew it was wanted, I could fill the order.

This is how GW2's trading system works. You can put up orders that basically say "I want to buy this thing in this quantity and for this price" And it'll eventually get filled.
