The origin of this is often associated with an autistic screech, but that's mostly for people who twisted it's intention. The sound that comes with it is actually frog screech, as the meme came from 4chan which is associated with Pepe the frog.

That one was later made by some fucking dickhead, the original source was from the Frog video posted in 2009, and then used on 4chan for Pepe as of 2014. This comic wasn't in circulation until 2016.

I respect where you are coming from, but I don't agree on usage. The people I know who use this in a sarcastic tone weren't even aware that dumb comic existed. I more wanted to point out that it's actual origin had nothing to do with insulting people with autism.

*pushes glasses up with one finger* Technically the original use was different and therefore your point about it having been used repeatedly since then to harm others is invalidated because language meanings cannot change. </neckbeard>

technically, if it's offensive and harmful, stop it.

perpetually offended person telling autistic person what is and isnt offensive to people with autism lol. Are you also offended by goats bleating and cows mooing? "Ree" is a sound made by frogs and is used on the internet to express anger, despite how many times you link KYM.
