I'll admit to using "REEEE!" myself, but honestly, I don't think most people do it out of a hatred for people with autism. close relative of mine is autistic and I love him with all my heart, doesn't mean that when I use a meme like that that it signifies any sort of ill will.
When I use it I am usually a mockery of people who either get upset over nothing, but it can be used in different ways... last time I remember using it was on a Discord server, one of the rules stated no NSFW in one of the channels, somebody posted NSFW and I jokingly went --
"Who posted NSFW in my -channel name- Ree etc etc" I am sorry that you feel this way about it, And trust me, If I meet someone who takes offense, I'll gladly avoid making those jokes in their presence
An autism meltdown is not "upset over nothing" be better at supporting your relative live in a society without autism hate.
