It could just be a power race at the moment, first to secure the azerite, but there has to be something more surely? She also leaves Saurfang to finish Malfurion, she knows he won’t kill him. That leaves her to look like she wanted him dead though.

Maybe she was just distracting Malfurion, taking him out of the picture for something? Too many unknowns...

WIth your question on why the void is angry with her, the Windrunner sisters comic explores this as the void believes she is an abomination, an act against nature that needs to be destroyed.

Ya reckon’ ? I took the void to be an always whispering always angry thing that try’s to convince Alleria to murder people and stuff but it got almost scared with Sylvanus. The true enemy of what, Alleria? I doubt it. Of life? Perhaps Of the void and?

In the comic, the void was violently afraid of Sylvanas. I agree with your point of Sylvanas being immune to the whispers of the Old Gods which makes her potentially important going forwardpic.twitter.com/ptCacXhKWr

She could also be immune to whispers from the void also. I have a feeling that the void requires life to be corrupted and that the undead are immune

Probably, that’s what I’d go with as well, all the undead may be immune from the voids touch? Does that include Calia’s light undead thing going on? (Surely this is just a res spell aha)

I believe it would include Calia's lightforged undead. I still believe the void is going to play a major part of the expansion

Yeah. The old gods may stretch under the lands again (like in Northrend) and may have tainted the blood or Azeroth itself. (Did seem pretty distressed when you help Magni out didn’t it?) So the azerite may be having some interesting effects on people other than ‘yay smarter’ lol.

Those were my exact thoughts when I saw the sword in Silithus especially with AQ nearby

Interesting point. Saegeras' own sword + Old Gods + [mysterious new substance]
