In Legion, many Alliance players shifted back to the Horde, again mostly because of Blood Elf racial being the standout, not only for PvP reasons. This is one way for Blizzard to shift population again. Some of their employees have also been on twitter promoting ppl to shift Alli

I don’t think that’s entirely crazeballs. Maybe less for the money issue than for faction balance, though. Alliance is getting some cool stuff this time around. Void Elves, Dark Irons, Lightforged, Kul Tiras—that alone is enough to tempt the weaker Hordies over to the blue side.

Throw in all the anti-Sylvanas sentiment and it might shake the faction balance up some. As for me, I’ll be staying Orc, and watching to see who rises in the course of the story.
