Well, those are PvP gear patterns. Also, if there is an easy source of Marks of Honor like the Warden Tower WQs, then it’s not a problem. Bonus question: Do the Marks get reset with BfA, or can we stockpile them now?
-
they're "pvp gear" but they have no pvp extraness, nothing that makes them for pvp rather than pve except the name. and: dont know yet

The wardens tower wqs aren't too bad to get these. I've never come across a horde real player while doing them .
-
that sounds like a good compromise

Marks of honor are ok. You don't even have to do a single pvp quest to earn them if you have a couple classes with an instant WQ completion token available.
-
...as long as they don't repeat the absolute misery of Silvershard Mines/Temple of Kotmogu. That was miserable for me, as I don't do PvP, and WAY MORE miserable for pvp'ers trying to earn victories or achievements in those BG's, as they were stuck with me.

Seems perfectly fine to me, really. It's an improvement over gating some recipes behind RBG wins in Legion, Marks aren't terribly hard to come by, and it's not as though you're being locked out of the gear they make if you don't have any.

So, I took a look on my main who I copied across. Looks like Marks of Honor from Legion are still marks of honor in BfA* * Its beta, change is likely, your milage may vary and prices will go down as well as uppic.twitter.com/nSCrc6ENJz

I normally would be less than enthusiastic about the idea of having to do pvp to get recipes. But looking at your screenie those seem to be pvp gear recipes, so that would just be doing pvp to get pvp recipes, which sounds fair.
