FGM is not just about cutting girls and women. Many people still stitch their women's vaginas after every childbirth regardless of the complications on her. This is called 'husband stitch', and the only purpose of this modification of a woman’s body is the sexual pleasure of men.

Yes & it's also barbaric! Any sort of mutilation on children should be banned.

FGM is high level wickedness and cruelty to females. It must be exposed and stopped totally. God bless you all for commitment and great work.

  6. It’s not lovemaking. This is rape. This particular issue is very common with FGM victims. I’ve heard stories from women I’ve known personally. It’s horrifying.

FGM is not an islamic practice, its roots are in African tribal culture not in any religion. The problem is very complex and difficult but if we look at hundreds of local NGOs fighting to , we can hope that no barbaries can be an inviolable tradition forever.

There are actually a lot of women going through this kind of pain that do not have the courage to talk to their partner but would rather endure the pain until that pain becomes a daily routine 😔.

That's definitely not lovemaking, let alone real consent...to coerce your partner to have immense pain inflicted on their body for your sole pleasure. SMH.

I wrote this in church last night while people were busy raining fire on their enemies. I wrote what I want for myself this year and for you too. I pray you live...

My dear, let me just tell you now, we won't stop speaking out against FGM. If you like, shout propaganda from today til tomorrow, we will shout louder. FGM is a harmful procedure, it is a violation of women's human rights and we will speak against it. By God we will!

  15. Have you seen a girl’s clitoris being CUT? We don't advise you to see one😨. FGM involves cutting the clitoral artery in which blood flows under high pressure and causes damage to the blood vessels while injuring the tissues aside the severe pain on HER. And for what BENEFITS?😤
