    Warrants for SONG leaders, Serena Sebring and Kyla Hartsfield, have been issued! We are calling for folks to come to the Durham County Jail to show up for them and tell the Sherriff to not follow through with the warrants! Call Sherriff Birkhead’s office now and tell him!

    We need your eyes on Durham. We can’t get in to see our folks. They are preventing clergy visits Durham County Jail. We have $1000 in hand ready to bring a Black mama home but the jail won’t let us in to get her out.

    So far we've paid 3 bails: -1 whose bail took 24 hrs to process -1 who is 5 mo. pregnant -1 who had a $2500 bail for shoplifting Not all these mamas would have qualified for NY's bail reforms (which take effect in 2020). All these mamas deserve to be

    Breaking: SONG Leaders chain themselves to Durham County Jail entrance! We are stopping any more Black mothers and caregivers from being caged. Judge Evans and Judge Hudson refuse to eliminate bail so we will stop the caging ourselves.
