      You sure it was Small Town News? Those segments involved photos that had been published in, well, small town news. Seems unlikely he'd have shown this image within those segments.

      It was the intro to the segment. The band played "Turkey in the Straw," and I believe the title was supered over the picture. Bob Morton was the producer. And, boy, Dave really hated the pic. I'm thinking late-80s/early 90s.

      There were 18 STN with Morty as producer. 5 of them haven't yet been digitized. This'll take some time.

      Ok, I skimmed through all the sigitized STN/Morty era, plus the one checked. Which leaves 4 not-yet-digitized shows left. Will pull them out and check.

      Last update for the night: I've skimmed through every Morty-era STN intro (including one from Late Show) and nothing. Big goose egg. Unsure where else to turn.

      Ok, really last update: The only Starland Vocal Band photos I found from Late Night is when Jeff Altman showed them on April 3, 1986 (pre-Morty as producer). Here they are. But no luck finding your photo introducing any of the Small Town News.pic.twitter.com/gqp9kCDfz6

      The You Tubes is amazing. I remember grabbing some of these but not all. Thanks! What @nutco is looking for is a SVB show photo that was shown on Late Night. That's been so far elusive.
