You sure it was Small Town News? Those segments involved photos that had been published in, well, small town news. Seems unlikely he'd have shown this image within those segments.

It was the intro to the segment. The band played "Turkey in the Straw," and I believe the title was supered over the picture. Bob Morton was the producer. And, boy, Dave really hated the pic. I'm thinking late-80s/early 90s.

There were 18 STN with Morty as producer. 5 of them haven't yet been digitized. This'll take some time.

Pulled out one show because notes said it had an intro. Not a match, the board goes back.

Ok, I skimmed through all the sigitized STN/Morty era, plus the one checked. Which leaves 4 not-yet-digitized shows left. Will pull them out and check.

Last update for the night: I've skimmed through every Morty-era STN intro (including one from Late Show) and nothing. Big goose egg. Unsure where else to turn.
