      @thedonz5 Mr. Giller; I read a profile of you as Letterman’s unlikely archivist. My father was in a Letterman segment in the 80s (or maybe early 90s) where Letterman visited an NYC barber named Joe. My dad was having his hair cut. I have long wished to find footage of it...

      Do you recall if Dave was actually there or if there was a live camera in the barbershop while Dave was in the studio? The former occurred at Joe's barbershop (not Jerry) on Nov. 5, 1988. Tony Bennett ended up there later in the show.

          It's probably the Nov. 5, 1987 live remote, where Dave, from the studio, offered every customer a mud massage. I'll prepare the upload.
