      Probably some well-meaning early adopter populating the LN ep list 20-odd years ago with TV Guide listings or something. But it shows how easily inaccuracies propagate. Looks like she was promoting a TV mini series co-starring Sam Elliott. Do you take requests, Don?

      Oh, in this case, the Ladd episode. Once a fan, always a fan. And although it's escaped @blakebellwriter's and my attention IF IT EVER HAPPENED, if Thompson Twins ever played we'd kill for that. I wouldn't want to delay a Grodin comp, BB. That's the apotheosis of talk teevee!

      TT never appeared on LN. But they performed at Live Aid in Philadelphia on July 13, 1985. Backing them were the "Psychotic Cowboys," which included @Willbassboy , pre-LN @TheAntonFig , and pre-LS @felicia5588 . Uploaded here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GX9BNvznMtA …

      @blakebellwriter and I, lifetime TT fans, loved that single degree of LNwDL separation. Random fact: when Paul introduced Felicia during the CBS premiere he stuttered, leading to saying the TT name twice. (The world yawned.) She was on their '89 LP, too. A Nile Rodgers cohort.

          I did not know that! Lots of pairings here: 1984, Lauper and TTs had the same producer (Alex Sadkin). Nile Rodgers produced TTs/played Live Aid in '85; played on Lauper's '86 LP. And @felicia5588 world-toured with the TTs in '85-'86. Wonder if she & @tombaileytour ever reminisce?
