Cheryl Ladd, 5-22-85 intro: "America will always remember my next guest from her role as Kris Munroe on one of my favorite television programs ever [laughter]. It was of course 'Charlie's Angels.'" [more laughter]

Never seen that one. That the LA-shot ep where Johnny comes out with his fold-up desk?

Looking at epguides - not the last word in such things, but it's all I've got - they've got Ladd 5/13 in LA (Carson, Savalas et al) and Tiegs 5/22 (Robert Plant).

That's all wrong. 5/13 in L.A.: Bo Derek, Dancing Barry. Telly Savales never appeared. LN. 5/22: Ladd, Plant.

Probably some well-meaning early adopter populating the LN ep list 20-odd years ago with TV Guide listings or something. But it shows how easily inaccuracies propagate. Looks like she was promoting a TV mini series co-starring Sam Elliott. Do you take requests, Don?

I can only but imagine. If it happens some day, great. Meantime I (read: we) get to enjoy everything else. It's all so, so good. Thanks for the time/investigation, Don. I am a fan!

Oh, in this case, the Ladd episode. Once a fan, always a fan. And although it's escaped
@blakebellwriter's and my attention IF IT EVER HAPPENED, if Thompson Twins ever played we'd kill for that. I wouldn't want to delay a Grodin comp, BB. That's the apotheosis of talk teevee!1 reply 1 retweet 0 likes
TT never appeared on LN. But they performed at Live Aid in Philadelphia on July 13, 1985. Backing them were the "Psychotic Cowboys," which included @Willbassboy , pre-LN @TheAntonFig , and pre-LS @felicia5588 . Uploaded here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GX9BNvznMtA …

@blakebellwriter and I, lifetime TT fans, loved that single degree of LNwDL separation. Random fact: when Paul introduced Felicia during the CBS premiere he stuttered, leading to saying the TT name twice. (The world yawned.) She was on their '89 LP, too. Felicia actually appeared on LN, backing up Cyndi Lauper on May 27, 1993.
