I’m finally beginning prep work for the Alan Kalter retrospective. A Mailbag batch from April 3, 1998, consists of segments with Kenny Sheehan, Tony Mendez, and Alan. That’s when it hits home.
Just searched through all of the Wahoo Gazettes for “Mao” and “jumpsuit.” No jumpsuit for Alan, and that 10-17-03 segment was the only one noted with him.

It must have been my imagination. I say “jumpsuit” but in my recollection he was dressed as a communist party worker. Perhaps I dreamt a sketch I wanted to submit. I swear I remember it!
