and the whole piece was maybe a 4 minutes long and interminable setup to a punchline that everyone knew was coming from the jump and dave took one look at the tape and said basically “nope this is too far even for me and i invented too far”

I can't remember. I just remember we thought it was funny but was painful to watch and technically not at all funny and 100% did not air.
