Okay I just looked it up in my files. (Apparently I have files!) It was September 18, 1998.
Confirmed! Just found it as well. Alan’s Apocalypse Now moment. I’m still neck-deep in Thank You’s (last night was down to 60, now back up to 87), but I’m now gathering various sources for a full accounting of Alan’s segments.
