Given the uncertainties around copyright, etc. I think this is a good way to go.
You come off as very genuine IMO, I’m glad that some people seem to be responding. (Ignore any trolls/miserable people who appear; there are usually a few.) -
Even if Don came off as a jerk (which he certainly does not), he has 30+ years of tireless service to the Letterman community that speaks for itself. That alone is worth throwing him support.
