I’m 70, so the prospect of gaining employment somewhere is a non-starter. Bottom line is I didn’t plan this through; this is all on me.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I remain in panic mode trying to figure out what to do. I’m so uncomfortable soliciting donations; I’d rather earn it. While not there yet, I’m beginning to understand the despair others far worse than me feel.

With all the work you do, asking for donations is not at all out of line. You absolutely do earn it by making your channel available for free.

If there was a way for me to show my appreciation monetarily, I would. It’s as easy as getting a cashapp or PayPal account.

If you setup a Patreon, i'm sure you'd get some subscribers. While i wouldn't suggest offering custom videos for your sibscrubers as that might annoy Worldwide Pants, perhaps release videos for your subscribers a week before putting them on YT?

At one point you were talking about writing a books. You could make it a short e-book and sell it on amazon (or make it a patreon perk). We'd support you, but you don't have to feel like it's a donation. (also spam your patreon link more often!)
