RIP, to the great Ed Asner. Whenever I’d hear or see him, I remembered this Letterman Top Ten List: “Top Ten Signs Your Name is Ed.” # 4: “You always get a friendly slap on the back and knowing wink whenever you run into Ed Asner.” (Random, yes, but it resonated with me.)
