What then is considered to be a correct episode date for a show that airs after midnight like the old Late Night? The previous day, as it's a part of that broadcast day? Always wonder how that worked. (Also, 2/3 of Saturday Night Live airs on Sunday morning in the East....)

I go by Late Night’s system — part of the previous day’s broadcast. Same with all of the Late Late Shows and Later.
