The YouTube comments section is, bu and large, the last bastion of the internet where people can express their love for things without being made to feel badly about it, or tell loving personal anecdotes without being called a liar. And where politics tends not to come up.
Politics comes up all the time, especially from the Far Right. I delete them immediately.

Oh yeah I guess because Dave said intelligent, common sense political things the far right hates him. But I find you can usually express appreciation for music acts/comedians without too much of a problem.
