Digitizing TSwJC, May 14, 1992, 6 shows before the end. Guests Michael Keaton, Martin Short, and Teri Garr. MK always funny, MS kills for 2 acts, TG picks it up from there, and MS finishes it off. Will have to include both MS and TG.

Just from the licensing site. Anything off the air is ok as long as Carson Entertainment Group monetizes them. (Though they gave me permission to use Grodin on TS with DL as guest-host.)

TSwJC = Tonight Show with Johnny Carson (though it should be “Starring,” not “with”; just used to “w” for all late night tv abbreviations.

The last show before Carson’s retirement announcement had Sly Stallone and Orson Bean as guests. May 22?

Carson announced his retirement in NYC May 23, '91. His last show before that was May 17; guests were Jim Valvano, John Candy, Maureen O'Hara. Stallone and Bean guested on May 2.
