Conan had been scheduled to debut on 8-23-93. When it didn't, NBC continued to air Dave's LN in its place. 2 weeks before the actual debut (9-13), NBC aired LN's 1st 10 shows, which I taped. Conan promos aired in-between Acts 1 and 2. Am collecting them now.

I always thought the '82 repeats would be to make people realize Dave started shaky, like Conan for should would be. Didn't realize he was supposed to debut same night as Dave. Dave did a joke "Things are going great - saw myself on TV last night and I looked 10 years younger."
