I spent the summers in the mid-‘90s in the Columbia U. Library microfilm room leafing through years of Village Voices (c 1962-‘78), jotting down club dates to input into my NYC Clubs database. (‘78 on from the purchased newsstand issues.)

That’s some incredible research you’ve done. If you could find someone able to port this database to the web would you be interested in making it publicly available?

It'd first have to be severely edited. Also, there are cells with notes ranging from a few words to several paragraphs. No way it could simply be transferred as is.
