        I recall one visit early-ish in the CBS run where Grodin claimed Carson had always paid him extra because he was such a good guest and suggested Dave do the same.

        Hi Donz! Do you remember the one where Grodin accuses Dave of telling him to go F himself while the band is playing him on at the beginning of the segment? It was sometime in the 1997-2001 range. It's burned into my memory as one of the funniest moments from any interview.
