I will need to compare the track you posted with this one on YouTube. How do you know Neil is not on this one, just curious.
Because I listened to the relevant passage. I don’t mean to suggest that he’s not on the released mixes at all, only that his guitar part was edited out of a specific passage. You’ll clearly hear it on the mix I was sent.

Never saw them live. I did subsequently collect (maybe) all of the available boots. Some time ago I put together every known version of “Bluebird,” both studio (including the truncated single) and live, for my own amusement.
