I was 13, and un ironically loved those two as legitimate comedy icons. Bart Simpson, Dave, Rupert Gee, Chris Farley, Sirajul and Mujibur, all the same to me then. Laughing was laughing. They were great.

Apologies, Rupert. I drove from Ottawa to NYC for a taping in 2000. I took the girlfriend into the Hello Deli, “why are we going in here?” I bought a Diet Coke just to talk to Rupert. He went for a smoke afterwards, and I sheepishly asked for a photo. He graciously obliged.
